Welcome to IAAP Detroit:     
    NOW is the perfect time to reflect on your career goals, establish a resolution to sharpen your professional skills and/or develop strategies for enhancing your resume. Commitment to excellence your career and profession through membership in IAAP is the perfect investment.  As you will discover, active membership allows you the opportunity to expand your knowledge base by leveraging your network to exchange ideas and information and friendships you make are life changing.  I could not be more proud than to serve as president of one of the longest standing chapters in the United States made up of such a diverse group of accomplished administrative professionals from some of Detroit’s most respected companies.      
       The administrative profession has changed a lot since I first entered the field.   IAAP Detroit was there then and it is here for the 21st century administrative professional just entering, looking for mobility or even just trying to keep up with technology and professionally survive.  If you are not a member, I invite you to join us.  If you are already a member, I encourage each of you to take full advantage of your membership benefits by creating your own as well as our chapter’s success this year.  Join the Detroit Chapter, travel with us on the journey by: 

• Committing to active membership by joining or chairing a committee, 
• Signing the Member of Excellence commitment form and becoming a Member of Excellence
• Taking the CAP-OM Exam
